FLIGHT INSPECTION and FLIGHT VALIDATION
The regular and safe operation of civil and military air traffic entirely depends on the availability of reliable navigational facilities, instrument landing system, radars, and visual approach aids. In this aspect, it is necessary that these navigational facilities are flight inspected on regular basis to examine the resulting signal-in-space as they are presented to an aircraft receiving system after being influenced by external factors i.e. site conditions, ground conductivity, terrain irregularities, metallic structures, propagation effect, equipment malfunctions etc.
Flight inspection is that activity which assures and verifies that signals in space transmitted by air navigation facilities meet the prescribed standards throughout their service life. Flight inspection will continue to be important in the function of proof of NavAids facility performance, because it presents in–flight evaluation and provides a sampling of the radiated signals in the operating environment. The purpose of flight inspection is to confirm the correctness of the setting of essential signal-in-space parameters, determine the operational safety and acceptability of the navigational aids.

Flight validation of the Instrument Flight Procedures (IFP) is a highly specialized activity which checks the following:
- the surrounding airspace and air traffic environment is assessed for safe tolerances
- the functioning of instrument flight procedures meet the intended operational requirement
- obstacle clearance during the procedure design process are accurate and precise; and
- The workload imposed on a pilot is acceptable.
Our experienced and highly trained Crews use advanced flight validation software and equipment at all Flight Phases to ensure the processes are completed in an efficient and traceable manner.
